MADTECHTRADING ARE INVOLVED IN ENVIRONMENTALLY SOUND SALVAGE AND RE-CYCLING OF NEW & USED ELECTRONIC, INDUSTRIAL, MANUFACTURING & TEST EQUIPMENT. WE ARE A UK REGISTERED BUSINESS CERTIFICATED BY THE ENVIRONMENT AGENCY FOR THE TRANSPORTATION & TRADING OF ELECTRONIC SALVAGE. WARRANTY CLAIMS:
If the item becomes defective or malfunctional within the warranty period we will replace the unit with an identical but functional unit. However prior to unit replacement and with all warranty claims we will first inspect the unit for the nature of the fault and for the possibility of repair. If repair is not possible and we do not have available an equivalent item to replace the defective unit then we will provide a full refund of the original payment made to us. If the item is found to have become defective or damaged by the customer by for instance rough handling, incorrect installation, installation in an acidic, alkaline, corrosive, wet, high humidity, excessive dirt, high or low atmospheric pressure environment or operated with excessive vibration levels, exposure to incorrect Voltages or Amperages, static electricity, lightning, extreme temperatures, the warranty becomes invalidated and no warranty whatsoever will be valid. In the unlikely event an item arrives from us DOA - Dead On Arrival please contact us immediately. We will quickly resolve the situation either by replacement or a full refund. Many items we stock have been thoroughly tested by us or tested prior to being supplied to us. However some items have been in storage for some time and it has become apparent to us that items can become defective during long-term storage.
Please note that 'consumable' items such as batteries, lightbulbs, lamps, (including CCFL backlight tubes) & fuses do not carry any form of warranty or guarantee.
WE STRONGLY ADVISE THAT YOU KEEP A FULL INVENTORY OF SPARE / REPLACEMENT BACKUP HARDWARE FOR ALL YOUR CRITICAL AND NON CRITICAL OPERATIONS IN YOUR PLANT. WE ACCEPT NO LIABILITY FOR MACHINE DOWNTIME OR LOST PROFITS CAUSED BY SINGLE OR MULTIPLE PART FAILURE. WE REGARD CUSTOMERS NOT KEEPING A FULL - AT MINIMUM A DOUBLE INVENTORY - OF SPARE / REPLACEMENT PARTS TO BE NEGLIGENT.
WE STRONGLY ADVISE WITH ALL DATA STORAGE DEVICES AND PRODUCTS WE SELL BEING SOLID-STATE, MAGNETIC OR OPTICAL YOU (OR AN AGENT WORKING ON YOUR BEHALF) MUST MAKE REGULAR BACKUPS OF ALL YOUR CRITICAL AND NON-CRITICAL DATA. WE ACCEPT NO LIABILITY FOR DATA LOSS OR DATA CORRUPTION THROUGH CUSTOMER NEGLIGENCE DUE TO A LACK OF DATA BACKUP.
WE STRONGLY ADVISE THAT ALL SAFETY, EMERGENCY AND FAIL-SAFE EQUIPMENT WE SELL MUST BE REGULARLY INSPECTED, SERVICED, CHECKED AND CERTIFICATED WHERE REQUIRED BY RELEVENTLY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL FOR CORRECT OPERATION BY THE CUSTOMER IF QUALIFIED TO DO SO OR BY A QUALIFIED AGENT WORKING ON YOUR BEHALF. WE ACCEPT NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR CUSTOMER NEGLIGENCE WHERE THE CUSTOMER (OR AN AGENT WORKING ON BEHALF OF THE CUSTOMER) HAS NOT REGULARLY CHECKED OR INSPECTED AND WHERE REQUIRED CERTIFIED THE EQUIPMENT FOR CORRECT & SAFE OPERATION.
THIS WARRANTY IS GIVEN IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THAT WE DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND/OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, EXCEPT ACTUAL DAMAGES UP TO, BUT NOT EXCEEDING, THE AMOUNT PAID TO US FOR THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, DIRECT OR INDIRECT DAMAGES OR LOST PROFITS WHETHER OR NOT ADVISED OF SAME.
IF THESE WARRANTY CONDITIONS ARE NOT OR CANNOT BE ACCEPTED BY THE PURCHASER, PLEASE RETURN THE UNIT OR UNITS, WITH OUR SEALS INTACT FOR A FULL REFUND MINUS SHIPPING & HANDLING COSTS.
BY BREAKING OUR PACK SEALS YOU ARE HEREBY AGREEING TO OUR WARRANTY CONDITIONS.
IN AN EFFORT TO AVOID FRAUD IN THE FORM OF COMPONENT & PART 'SWITCHING' WE NOW TAKE HIGH RESOLUTION SCANS OF BOTH SIDES OF HIGH VALUE MODULES & PCB'S PRIOR TO SHIPPING FOR IDENTIFICATION PURPOSES AND ANTI-TAMPERING. ALL SERIAL NUMBERS ARE LOGGED. |
