Let me introduce myself! My name is Ivailo Tonchev and I live in Bulgaria! I got into music in my late teens, during the Perestroika period. My country used to be a cultural jail until the mid 80s came and I got involved into punk and metal. Then, with the blossoming of the digital industry and the CD revolution, I got involved in vinyl – collection, trading, selling, buying, even releasing several records. I have always wanted to have a shop of my own, where I can present my musical interests, my unexpected discoveries and so many really exotic records I find every day. Well, sadly, it is the end of the big money in the musical business, nobody sniffs cocaine from a golden bowl anymore, this shop will not make me rich too. But I know that I will meet so many nice and friendly people and I know this is the real value of the things I do.

I am 36 years old, currently a school teacher, but I also work as a musical journalist for several magazines and I also work as a “serious journalist” for a newspaper in England.
